ΕΙΣΑΓΩΓΙΚΑ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΜΑΤΑ / PROGRAME NOTES
🇬🇷 Για το έργο “Εικόνες της Θάλασσας” :
Η θάλασσα μας περιτριγυρίζει. Ενίοτε μας γαληνεύει, ενίοτε μας στοιχειώνει. Η θάλασσα είναι η ζωή μας· είναι το ταξίδι, είναι και ο χαμός. Η ιστορία μας είναι γεμάτη θάλασσα, όσο πίσω στον χρόνο κι αν πάμε. Ακόμη και το όνομά της προέρχεται από μια γλώσσα που έχει πια χαθεί. Κι ενώ ο δικός μας Οδυσσέας είναι ο παλαιότερος επώνυμος ναυτικός-ταξιδευτής, για τους Ρωμαίους η Μεσόγειος ήταν η «δική τους θάλασσα» (mare nostrum), η «μεγάλη θάλασσα» (mare magnum).
Για εμάς σήμερα είναι είτε τόπος αναψυχής είτε τόπος τραγωδίας. Η γαλήνη και η άβυσσος, η ελπίδα και η απώλεια. Από την απόλυτη νηνεμία της ακτής στον σκοτεινό ρυθμό της καταιγίδας που καταπίνει τις ελπίδες των ναυτικών.
Τα μουσικά όργανα συνομιλούν με τα παλιά τραγούδια της θάλασσας—αυτά που μιλούν για τη νοσταλγία, το δέος μπροστά στο άγνωστο και τη σιωπή που απομένει μετά την τρικυμία. Τέλος, ο λόγος δίνει φωνή στον χαμό, στον νόστο και στον αρχέγονο αγώνα του ανθρώπου με τα κύματα.
Το έργο αυτό γράφτηκε με την οικονομική υποστήριξη του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού ειδικά για την αποψινή συναυλία. Είναι αφιερωμένο στη μνήμη των ανθρώπων που χάθηκαν στα σκοτεινά νερά της Μεσογείου αναζητώντας μια καλύτερη ζωή.
🇬🇧 Images of the Sea .The sea surrounds us. At times it calms us, at times it haunts us. The sea is our life; it is the journey, as well as the loss. Our history is steeped in the sea, no matter how far back in time we trace it. Even its very name originates from a language long lost. And while our own Ulysses (Odysseus) is the oldest named seafarer and voyager, for the Romans, the Mediterranean was “their sea” (mare nostrum), the “great sea” (mare magnum).
For us today, it is either a place of recreation or a site of tragedy. Serenity and the abyss, hope and loss. From the utter calm of the shore to the dark rhythm of the storm that swallows the sailors’ hopes.
The musical instruments converse with the old songs of the sea—those that speak of nostalgia, awe in the face of the unknown, and the silence that remains after the tempest. Finally, the spoken word gives voice to loss, the longing for homecoming (nostos), and man’s primordial struggle against the waves.
This work was written with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture specifically for tonight’s concert. It is dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives in the dark waters of the Mediterranean in search of a better life.
🇬🇷 Για το έργο “Tapes & Photos” :
Το κομμάτι Tapes & Photos γράφτηκε το 2002 και παρουσιάστηκε για πρώτη φορά στο καφενείο του «Κάπελα» (σημερινό «Αστικόν») στον Ποταμό, στο πλαίσιο της μουσικής εκδήλωσης που πλαισίωσε τις Πρώτες Φωτογραφικές Συναντήσεις Κυθήρων. Αποτελείται από 3 μικρά κομμάτια για δύο πνευστά και πιάνο, τα οποία εναλλάσσονται με 3 μικρά βίντεο που επιμελήθηκαν η Μαρία Σχινά και ο Παναγιώτης Λευθέρης, βασισμένα σε ηχητικά ντοκουμέντα από ηχογραφήσεις του Γιώργου Λευθέρη σε μαγνητοταινία (“μπομπίνα”) το 1969, όπου συγγενικά πρόσωπα στα Κύθηρα στέλνουν ηχητικά τις ευχές τους στο ξενιτεμένο μέλος της οικογένειας στην Αμερική. Η αποψινή εκτέλεση είναι αφιερωμένη στη μνήμη του Γιώργου Λευθέρη.
🇬🇧 Tapes & Photos. The piece Tapes & Photos was composed in 2002 and premiered at the “Kapelas” coffee house (now “Astikon”) in Potamos, as part of the musical event framing the 1st Kythera Photographic Encounters. It consists of three short pieces for two wind instruments and piano, alternating with three short videos edited by Maria Schina and Panayotis Leftheris. These videos are based on audio documents from reel-to-reel tape recordings made by Giorgos Leftheris in Kythera in 1969, capturing relatives sending their recorded wishes to a family member who had emigrated to America. Tonight’s performance is dedicated to the memory of Giorgos Leftheris.
ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΑ / BIOS
🇬🇷 O Παναγιώτης Λευθέρης (Πειραιάς 1966) έχει κάνει σπουδές πιάνου με τον Γιάννη Tζόνκερ και αρμονίας με τον Γιώργο Zερβό καθώς και ανώτερων θεωρητικών με τον Iωσήφ Παπαδάτο και τον Παναγιώτη Aδάμ. Έκανε πτυχιακές και μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές σύνθεσης στη Bασιλική Mουσική Aκαδημία τής Xάγης με τους Luis Andriessen, Gilius van Bergeijk, Clarence Barlow, Diderik Wagenaar και Martijn Padding. Έχει γράψει μουσική δωματίου καθώς και τραγούδια πάνω σε στίχους Κυθήριων ποιητών, κάποια από τα οποία, έχει ηχογραφήσει και εκδώσει σε 2 CD με το ψευδώνυμο Catelouso. Tις συλλογές “Σύναξις” (Σείριος 2007) και “Το Τραγούδι των Σειρήνων” (Kytheriosmusic 2009). Υπήρξε βασικός διοργανωτής του Μουσικού Εργαστηρίου Κυθήρων (2004-2006). Ζει μόνιμα στα Κύθηρα όπου είναι καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του σωματείου «Φιλαρμονική Ποταμού Κυθήρων».
🇬🇧 Panayotis Leftheris (Piraeus, 1966) studied piano with Yannis Jonker and harmony with Yiorgos Zervos, as well as advanced music theory with Iosif Papadatos and Panagiotis Adam. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under Louis Andriessen, Gilius van Bergeijk, Clarence Barlow, Diderik Wagenaar, and Martijn Padding. He has composed chamber music as well as songs set to poetry by Kytherian poets—some of which he recorded and released on two CDs under the pseudonym Catelouso: the collections “Synaxis” (Sirios, 2007) and “The Song of the Sirens” (Kytheriosmusic, 2009). He was a key organizer of the Kythera Music Workshop (2004–2006). He lives permanently on Kythera, where he serves as the artistic director of the “Philharmoniki Potamou Kithiron” association.
TRIO HELICHRYSUM
Ελένη Μαρίνη | Πιάνο / Piano
🇬🇷 Η Ελένη Μαρίνη είναι πιανίστα και μουσικολόγος. Είναι απόφοιτος
του Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, όπου σπούδασε με πλήρη
υποτροφία υπό τον Philip Jenkins, καθώς και του Τμήματος
Μουσικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Έλαβε Δίπλωμα
Πιάνου σε ηλικία 15 ετών υπό τον Δημήτρη Τουφεξή, με βαθμό
«Άριστα Παμψηφεί, Α ́ βραβείο και Χρυσό Μετάλλιο», καθώς και
Πτυχία Αρμονίας («Άριστα παμψηφεί») και Αντίστιξης («Άριστα»).
Έχει συμπράξει ως σολίστ με την ορχήστρα της Βασιλικής
Ακαδημίας της Σκωτίας, την ορχήστρα του Κολλεγίου Αθηνών και
άλλα νεανικά σχήματα, ενώ έχει πραγματοποιήσει ρεσιτάλ σε
Ελλάδα και Σκωτία. Κατέχει μόνιμη θέση καθηγήτριας μουσικής
στην Πρωτοβάθμια & Δευτεροβάθμια Εκπαίδευση και διδάσκει
πιάνο στο Μουσικό Σχολείο Αλίμου.
🇬🇧 Eleni Marini is a pianist and musicologist. She graduated from the
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on a full scholarship under Philip
Jenkins and holds a degree from the Department of Music Studies
at the University of Athens. She obtained her Piano Diploma at age
15 under Dimitris Toufexis with Highest Distinction (“Unanimously
Excellent, 1st Prize and Gold Medal”), as well as degrees in
Harmony (“Unanimously Excellent”) and Counterpoint (“Excellent”).
As a soloist, she has performed with the Royal Scottish Academy
Orchestra, the Athens College Orchestra, and various student
ensembles, alongside solo recitals in Greece and Scotland. She
holds a tenured music teaching post in primary and secondary
education and teaches piano at the Alimos Music School.
🇬🇷 Έλλη Παπαγρηγορίου | Βιολί / Violin
Η Έλλη Παπαγρηγορίου είναι βιολονίστα και παιδαγωγός του
βιολιού. Είναι απόφοιτος του Κρατικού Ωδείου της Μόσχας “P. I.
Tchaikovsky”, όπου σπούδασε υπό την καθοδήγηση του Sergey
Kravchenko. Έλαβε Δίπλωμα Βιολιού με βαθμό «Άριστα
παμψηφεί» και Α’ Βραβείο σε ηλικία 14 ετών, καθώς και Πτυχίο
Αρμονίας με βαθμό «Άριστα». Έχει λάβει μέρος σε πλήθος
σεμιναρίων βιολιού και μουσικής παιδαγωγικής. Έχει διακριθεί σε
διεθνείς διαγωνισμούς βιολιού, ενώ υπήρξε υπότροφος του
Ιδρύματος Vladimir Spivakov. Επί σειρά ετών υπήρξε εξάρχουσα
της Ελληνοτουρκικής Ορχήστρας Νέων. Έχει εμφανιστεί ως σολίστ
με την Ορχήστρα του Δήμου Αθηναίων, την Ελληνοτουρκική
Ορχήστρα Νέων, ορχήστρες δωματίου της Μόσχας κ.ά. Είναι
μόνιμη καθηγήτρια βιολιού στο Μουσικό Σχολείο Αλίμου, υπεύθυνη
για τη διαχείριση της Underground Kids Orchestra και τη
διδασκαλία των εγχόρδων, μέλος σε κριτικές επιτροπές
πανελληνίων διαγωνισμών εγχόρδων, ενώ έχει διατελέσει μέλος
του Δ.Σ. του Οργανισμού Μεγάρου Μουσικής Αθηνών.
🇬🇧 Elli Papagregoriou is a violinist and violin pedagogue. She
graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow,
studying under Sergey Kravchenko. She earned her Violin Diploma
with Highest Distinction (“Unanimously Excellent”) and First Prize
at age 14, alongside a Harmony Degree with “Excellent”. She has
attended numerous violin and music pedagogy masterclasses, won
awards at international competitions, and was a Vladimir Spivakov
Foundation scholar. For many years, she served as concertmaster
of the Greek-Turkish Youth Orchestra. She has performed as a
soloist with the City of Athens Symphony Orchestra, the Greek-
Turkish Youth Orchestra, Moscow chamber orchestras, and others.
She is a tenured violin teacher at the Alimos Music School,
manager and string instructor of the Underground Kids Orchestra,
jury member for national string competitions, and a former Board
Member of the Athens Concert Hall.
🇬🇷 Σταματία Σγουροπούλου | Βιολοντσέλο / Cello
Η Σταματία Σγουροπούλου είναι τσελίστα και μουσικοπαιδαγωγός.
Είναι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Μουσικής Επιστήμης και Τέχνης
του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας (τάξη Δ. Πάτρα) και έλαβε
Δίπλωμα Βιολοντσέλου με «Άριστα παμψηφεί» από το Δημοτικό
Ωδείο Καβάλας (τάξη Χρ. Κόζαλη). Κατέχει μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο
ερμηνείας βιολοντσέλου από το LUCA School of Arts του KU
Leuven (Βέλγιο), υπό τον Geert De Bièvre. Απέσπασε Α’ βραβείο
στον διαγωνισμό μουσικής δωματίου του ΠΑΜΑΚ, παρακολούθησε
masterclasses με διακεκριμένους μουσικούς και έχει συμπράξει με
ορχήστρες όπως η Νέα Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Θεσσαλονίκης, η
ΚΟΘ, η Leuven International Orchestra, η ΕΛΣΟΝ, η JONDE κ.ά.
Έχει εμφανιστεί σε σημαντικές αίθουσες (Konzerthaus Βερολίνου,
Auditorio Nacional de Música Μαδρίτης κ.ά.). Είναι μόνιμη
καθηγήτρια βιολοντσέλου στο Μουσικό Σχολείο Αλίμου και έχει
διδάξει στο ετήσιο θερινό σεμινάριο Volax.
🇬🇧 Stamatia Sgouropoulou is a cellist and music educator. She
graduated from the Department of Music Science and Art at the
University of Macedonia (class of D. Patras) and obtained her
Cello Diploma with Highest Distinction (“Unanimously Excellent”)
from the Municipal Conservatory of Kavala (class of Chr. Kozalis).
She holds a Master’s degree in Cello Performance from LUCA
School of Arts / KU Leuven (Belgium) under Geert De Bièvre.
Winner of 1st Prize at the UoM Chamber Music Competition, she
has participated in active masterclasses and performed with
ensembles such as the New Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki,
the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Leuven International
Orchestra, Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO/ELSON), and
JONDE (Spain). She has performed in major venues (Berlin
Konzerthaus, Auditorio Nacional de Música Madrid). She holds a
tenured teaching post at Alimos Music School and has taught at
the annual Volax Summer Seminar.
🇬🇷 Μαριάννα Αγνίδη | Φωνητικά / Vocals
Γεννημένη στην Αθήνα και μεγαλωμένη τα καλοκαίρια στα Κύθηρα, γοητευμένη απο τα ακούσματα της πόλης και των στοιχείων της φύσης, η Μαριάννα τραγουδούσε απο οταν ξεκίνησε να μιλά. Σπούδασε διοίκηση τουριστικών επιχειρήσεων και μαθητεύει ανά τα χρόνια στο χώρο της φωνής και της έκφρασης με τις αγαπημένες δασκάλες της, Πολυξένη Πρελορέτζου, Αγγελική Τουμπανακη, Θέκλα Γαΐτη, Moeno Wakamatsu και Αννα Λούνα Λούβαρη. Απο το 2015 εμφανίζεται σε διάφορα μαγαζιά και μουσικές σκηνές στα Κύθηρα και την Αθήνα, κάνοντας παράλληλα την έρευνά της στο χώρο της έκφρασης μέσω της φωνής και της κίνησης. Ανάμεσα στα μουσικά είδη και του κόσμου τα ηχοκύματα, εξερευνά τους τρόπους της να μεταφράσει το βίωμα σε μελωδία.
🇬🇧 Marianna Agnides was born in Athens and raised spending her summers in Kythira, fascinated by the sounds of the city and the elements of nature, Marianna has been singing since she first learned to speak. She studied Tourism Business Management and over the years has been training in the realm of voice and expression alongside her beloved teachers, Polyxeni Prelorentzou, Aggeliki Toubanaki, Thekla Gaiti, Moeno Wakamatsu, and Anna Luna Louvari. Since 2015, she has been performing in various venues and music stages in Kythira and Athens, while conducting her own research into expression through voice and movement. Navigating through musical genres and the world’s soundwaves, she explores her own unique ways of translating lived experience into melody.
🇬🇷 Νίκος Κατριτζιδάκης | Φλάουτο / Flute
Ο Νίκος Κατριτζιδάκης μεγάλωσε στο Ρέθυμνο. Σπούδασε φλάουτο με τη Στέλλα Γαδέδη στην Αθήνα, με τους Jean Ferrandis και Christine B. Bres στο Παρίσι και θεωρητικά με τον Διαμαντή Διαμαντόπουλο στην Αθήνα. Είναι μέλος της Αθηναϊκής Φιλαρμονίας από το 1999. Υπήρξε συνεργάτης τηςΟρχήστρας των Χρωμάτων από το 1993 έως και την παύση της το 2011.Έχει συνεργαστεί σε δισκογραφικές παραγωγές συνθετών όπως οι Μάνος Χατζηδάκις, Νίκος Μαμαγκάκης, Γιώργος Κυριακάκης, Φανή Κοσώνα, Παναγιώτης Λευθέρης, Κώστας Γρηγορέας, καθώς και σε παραγωγές παραδοσιακής μουσικής της Κρήτης. Τελευταίο του δισκογραφικό – εκδοτικό εγχείρημα η προσωπική παραγωγή «Το Κουρσεμένο Κάστρο» (2024). Διδάσκει φλάουτο στο Αττικό Ωδείο Παγκρατίου ενώ είναι μόνιμο μέλος της Φιλαρμονικής Ορχήστρας του Δήμου Αθηναίων.
🇬🇧 Nikos Katritzidakis grew up in Rethymno. He studied flute with Stella Gadedi in Athens and with Jean Ferrandis and Christine B. Bres in Paris, as well as music theory with Diamantis Diamantopoulos in Athens.He has been a member of the Athens Philharmonia since 1999. He was also a collaborator of the Orchestra of Colours from 1993 until its dissolution in 2011. He has participated in discographic productions by composers such as Manos Hatzidakis, Nikos Mamangakis, Giorgos Kyriakakis, Fani Kosona, Panagiotis Leftheris, and Kostas Grigoreas, as well as in traditional Cretan music productions.His latest recording and publishing project is his personal production, “To Koursemeno Kastro” (The Plundered Castle, 2024). He teaches flute at the Attiko Conservatory of Pangrati and is a permanent member of the City of Athens Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra.
🇬🇷 Μανούσος Πλουμίδης | Kλαρινέτο / Clarinet
Ο Μανούσος Πλουμίδης γεννήθηκε το 1977 στα Ιωάννινα. Ξεκίνησε τις μουσικές του σπουδές στη Φιλαρμονική του Δήμου με καθηγητή τον κ.Νικόλαο Μωραϊτη και στο Δημοτικό Ωδείο στην τάξη του κ.Ορέστη Νίκα. Στην συνέχεια φοίτησε στην τάξη του κ.Ευσταθίου Κιοσόγλου στο Ωδείο Φίλιππος Νάκας (Αθήνα), λαμβάνοντας κατά το έτος 2001 το δίπλωμά του με άριστα παμψηφεί και Α΄ Βραβείο. Το ίδιο έτος αποφοίτησε από το Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, επίσης με βαθμό άριστα.Συνέχισε τις σπουδές του σε μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο στη Βασιλική Μουσική Ακαδημία της Μονς του Βελγίου στην τάξη του κ.Ronald Van Spaendonck στο κλαρινέτο και του κ.Guy van Waas στη μουσική δωματίου, με υποτροφίες του Συλλόγου «Οι Φίλοι της Μουσικής» (Κληροδότημα Αλεξάνδρας Τριάντη) και του Ιδρύματος «Αλέξανδρος Σ.Ωνάσης», από όπου έλαβε τους τίτλους «Premier Prix» στη μουσική δωματίου και «Diplôme Superieur» στο κλαρινέτο. Έχει παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια κλαρινέτου και ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα με τους W. Boeykens, Α. Pay, A. Carbonare, C. Faucomprez, P. Gossart και R.Giyot.
Έχει εμφανιστεί ως σολίστ και έχει δώσει συναυλίες μουσικής δωματίου στην Ελλάδα, το Βέλγιο, την Γερμανία, την Ιταλία και την Κύπρο. Τον Οκτώβριο του 2002 εκπροσώπησε την Ελλάδα στην «Μεσογειακή Ορχήστρα για την Ειρήνη» που συστάθηκε στο Παλέρμο της Σικελίας. Τον ίδιο μήνα συμμετείχε επίσης στο διεθνές συμπόσιο κλαρινέτου του Ντυσελντόρφ, ως μέλος της Χορωδίας Κλαρινέτων του κ.W.Boeykens. Έχει συμπράξει με την Αθηναϊκή Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων, την Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα του Δήμου Αθηναίων, την «Orchestre Royal de Wallonie» και την «Orchestre Interconservatoires» (Βέλγιο), την Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών, την Ορχήστρα της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής και το Ελληνικό Συγκρότημα Σύγχρονης Μουσικής. Επίσης, ως μουσικός έχει συμμετάσχει σε διάφορες θεατρικές παραγωγές στην Ελλάδα και στο Βέλγιο. Ασχολείται ιδιαίτερα με τη σύγχρονη μουσική δημιουργία, έχοντας ερμηνεύσει σε πρώτη εκτέλεση αρκετά έργα Ελλήνων και ξένων συνθετών.
Την περίοδο 2003-2005 εργάστηκε ως βοηθός διευθυντής ορχήστρας και καθηγητής κλαρινέτου στο Διεθνές Σχολείο των Βρυξελλών. ‘Εχει διδάξει κλαρινέτο στο Δημοτικό Ωδείο Αγίας Παρασκευής, στο Τμήμα Μουσικής Επιστήμης και Τέχνης του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας (2007-2010,Διδάσκων βλασει του Π.Δ./80) και μουσική δωματίου στο Ωδείο «Αναγέννηση».Την περίοδο 2006-2008 διετέλεσε κορυφαίος κλαρινετίστας της Ορχήστρας του Μπαλέτου της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής και την περίοδο 2006-2010 της Φιλαρμονικής Ορχήστρας του Δήμου Αιγάλεω.Από το 2006 διδάσκει κλαρινέτο στο Αττικό Ωδείο, ενώ από το 2010 διδάσκει στα εκπαιδευτήρια «Ι.Μ. Παναγιωτόπουλος» και είναι κορυφαίος κλαρινετίστας στην Φιλαρμονική Ορχήστρα του Δήμου Χαλανδρίου.
🇬🇧 Manousos Ploumidis was born in Ioannina in 1977. He began his musical studies at the Municipal Philharmonic under Nikolaos Moraitis and at the Municipal Conservatory in the class of Orestis Nikas. He continued his studies under Efstathios Kiosoglou at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens, graduating in 2001 with a Diploma with Highest Distinction (Unanimous Excellence) and First Prize. That same year, he graduated with distinction from the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He pursued postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in Belgium, studying clarinet under Ronald Van Spaendonck and chamber music under Guy van Waas, supported by scholarships from “The Friends of Music Society” (Alexandra Trianti Endowment) and the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation. He obtained the “Premier Prix” in chamber music and the “Diplôme Supérieur” in clarinet. He has also attended masterclasses and private lessons with W. Boeykens, A. Pay, A. Carbonare, C. Faucomprez, P. Gossart, and R. Giyot.
He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Greece, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Cyprus. In October 2002, he represented Greece in the “Mediterranean Peace Orchestra” in Palermo, Sicily. During the same month, he participated in the International Clarinet Symposium in Düsseldorf as a member of W. Boeykens’ Clarinet Choir. He has collaborated with the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra, the City of Athens Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Royal de Wallonie, the Orchestre Interconservatoires (Belgium), the Athens State Orchestra, the Greek National Opera Orchestra, and the Greek Ensemble for Contemporary Music. Additionally, he has participated as a musician in various theatrical productions in Greece and Belgium. He has a special interest in contemporary music, having premiered numerous works by Greek and international composers.
From 2003 to 2005, he served as assistant conductor and clarinet instructor at the International School of Brussels. He has taught clarinet at the Municipal Conservatory of Agia Paraskevi, at the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia (2007–2010, under Presidential Decree 407/80), and chamber music at the “Anagennisi” Conservatory. From 2006 to 2008, he was principal clarinetist of the Greek National Opera Ballet Orchestra, and from 2006 to 2010, principal clarinetist of the Egaleo Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2006, he has been teaching clarinet at the Attiko Conservatory, while since 2010 he teaches at the “I.M. Panagiotopoulos” School and serves as principal clarinetist of the Chalandri Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra.
